SBI CBO Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India has officially announced a major recruitment drive for the year 2026. Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Candidates applying for these posts must fulfill the following educational and experience requirements:

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates with professional qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant (CA), or Cost Accountant are also eligible to apply.

Work Experience:

As on 31.12.2025, the candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB).

Local Language Proficiency:

The candidate must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the circle for which they are applying (for example, Kannada for Karnataka).Candidates who have studied the local language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempted from the language test.

Age Limit & Age Relaxation

The age of candidates will be calculated as on 31.12.2025:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.01.1996 and not later than 31.12.2004.

Age Relaxation Details

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD – General/EWS): 10 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD – OBC): 13 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD – SC/ST): 15 years
  • Ex-servicemen and Commissioned Officers: 5 years

Salary Details

Selected officers will be offered an attractive pay scale:

  • Initial Basic Pay: ₹48,480 (with 2 advance increments)
  • Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – 2,000/7 – 62,480 – 2,340/2 – 67,160 – 2,680/7 – 85,920

In addition to the basic pay, officers will be entitled to the following benefits and allowances:

  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)
  • Provident Fund (PF)
  • Medical facilities and other admissible benefits

5 . Carefully fill in your educational qualifications, work experience, and personal details.

6 . Upload your recent photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format and size.

7 . Upload experience certificates, resume, and other educational documents in PDF format.

8 . Pay the application fee as applicable and submit the application.

9 . Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
